The key metrics the planner calculates, in plain language.

NDL — No-Decompression Limit

The maximum time you can stay at a depth without requiring decompression stops on the way up.

MOD — Maximum Operating Depth

The deepest safe depth for your gas mix, based on your chosen oxygen partial-pressure (PPO₂) limit.

EAD — Equivalent Air Depth

The air depth a nitrox mix behaves like, used to look up the correct table row for the dive.

Pressure Group

A letter (A–Z) representing how much residual nitrogen your body holds after a dive.

RNT — Residual Nitrogen Time

A time penalty added to a repetitive dive to account for nitrogen left over from the previous dive.

Surface-Interval Credit

Nitrogen you off-gas while resting on the surface, which lowers your pressure group before the next dive.
